Taper Roller Bearings

Taper roller bearings are the most widely used thrust bearings that can sustain huge amount of radial as well as axial forces without a hitch due to their unique geometrical build. The inner and outer rings, commonly known as raceways in industrial terms, are made with a slight taper in such a way so as to make the motion of the cones co-axial, thereby reducing the possibility of sliding motion in the bearings. This helps in averting any performance or productivity loss. Taper roller bearings are usually used in opposing pairs to compensate for the axial forces bi-directionally in equal proportions and guided by a back face rib on the cone.
